Five Greater Accra Schools Qualify for 2025 Junior Science and Maths Quiz Nationals
Five schools from the Greater Accra Region have secured their spots at the national stage of the 2025 Junior Science and Maths Quiz (JSMQ), to be held at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.
The qualifying schools are Atomic Hills 2 Basic School, St. Peter R/C Basic School, Archbishop Andoh R/C School, Ayiwuma Methodist JHS, and Ancilla Primary and JHS.
St. Peter’s R/C JHS emerged as the first qualifier after an impressive performance, securing 49 points to beat Anchor Educational Institution and Rebhad International School.
In the second contest, Archbishop Andoh R/C School clinched victory with 26 points, beating Wellspring School and Star Holy Kingdom Academy.
Atomic Hills 2 Basic School secured the third qualifying slot with 35 points, overcoming strong competition from Premier Insights Academy and NT Aim High School.
Meanwhile, Ayiwuma Methodist JHS triumphed in the fourth qualifier, amassing 39 points against Glorious Child School Limited and Ekis Montessori School.
Rounding off the top five, Ancilla Primary and Junior High School earned the final slot with 35 points, surpassing Smart International School and Taifa Community 3 Basic School.
