Ketasco M/A Basic and Holuta Aflakpe D/A Basic Schools have secured Volta Region’s slots for the National Junior Science and Maths Quiz (JSMQ) competition.

After an intense and competitive showdown, Ketasco M/A Basic School and Kpando St. Thomas Aquinas JHS ended their contest in a thrilling tie, both scoring 27 points. The tension rose as a tie-breaker round was introduced to determine the winner. Ketasco M/A Basic School triumphed in the tie-breaker, earning the first qualification slot from the Volta Region for the upcoming National Championship.

In another round of the competition, Holuta Aflakpe D/A Basic School delivered an exceptional performance, beating Mafi Kumase Comboni R.C JHS and Akatsi College Practice Cluster ‘B’. Their victory secured the final slot from the Volta Region for the Nationals.

Both schools will represent the Volta Region at the national level, where they will compete against schools from across the country for the ultimate title.
