The Management Board of the Junior Science and Maths Quiz Competition (JSMQ) wishes to inform all prospective participating schools that the competition will not be held this year.

This decision has been necessitated by recent changes to the academic calendars of both the University and the Ghana Education Service, which make it impracticable to organise the contest.

JSMQ regrets any inconvenience that this might have caused. Dates for the regional and national competitions for the 2027 edition will be announced to you soon.

JSMQ remains committed to identifying, nurturing, and inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, technologists, and innovators who will contribute to Ghana's scientific and technological advancement.
