Eastern Region Schools M/A CRIG JHS and Gifpraise School Complex Advance to Nationals

M/A CRIG JHS and Gifpraise School Complex from the Eastern Region have secured places in the 2024 Junior Science and Maths Quiz (JSMQ) National Championship. This marks an exciting debut for both schools, as the Eastern Region has been newly added to the lineup for the national competition this year. Both schools demonstrated outstanding academic excellence in the regional qualifiers, earning their slots at the national level.

M/A CRIG JHS advanced with 44 points, defeating Effiduase Presby Basic, which scored 25 points, and Nkawkaw Nsuta M/A Basic School, which scored 42 points. Meanwhile, Gifpraise School Complex dominated their contest with a remarkable 51 points, outperforming Pentecost Preparatory School and Nkroso M/A Basic School, who scored 46 and 15 points, respectively.

The success of these two schools signals strong representation from the Eastern Region as they prepare to compete in the national championship for the first time.
