The Eastern Region has secured its two representatives for the upcoming 2025 National Championship of the Junior Science and Maths Quiz (JSMQ), following two keenly contested regional qualifying rounds.

In the first regional qualifier, GifPraise School Complex faced tough competition from Brentford International Academy and Bright International School, Anyinam. Demonstrating exceptional teamwork, consistency, and mastery of scientific concepts, GifPraise School Complex emerged victorious with 30 points, earning them a place at the National Championship for the second consecutive year.

The second qualifier saw an equally thrilling contest between New Tafo Presby Basic School, Nkawkaw Nsuta M/A “B” Basic School, and M/A CRIG JHS. In the end, M/A CRIG JHS proved their strength and experience once again, securing qualification to the Nationals.

Both schools have now earned their  place of representing the Eastern Region at the National stage of the Junior Science and Maths Quiz 2025, a platform that continues to celebrate academic brilliance and inspire young minds across Ghana.
